Alex Balson is a dedicated Planning team member with a strong foundation in urban planning and sustainability. A recent graduate of Ohio University, Alex holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA), where she developed a skill set in GIS data analytics, strategic planning, and economic development initiatives.

Alex began her career with Steadfast City as an intern, where she quickly demonstrated an aptitude for driving impactful projects and fostering collaborative relationships. Passionate about being a voice for others, Alex is committed to building meaningful partnerships and promoting equitable development. Her strategic mindset and hands-on experience make her a valuable asset in shaping sustainable growth and community-driven solutions. In her current role, Alex plays a key part in coordinating projects that foster economic opportunity, leveraging their expertise to help create thriving, resilient communities.
