Doug Rasmussen is an entrepreneur, innovator, and creative thought leader with 25-years experience in real estate development, economic development, and community development. He has also previously worked in the transportation and music industry. Doug has worked both in the St. Louis MO-IL region and nationally with businesses, real estate developers, community development corporations, economic development organizations, government agencies, civic leaders, and social sector/non-profit leaders to drive his unique method of multidisciplinary community impact, which is embodied in Steadfast City, the firm he founded in 2019. He and his team engage in site selection, negotiate economic incentives, perform urban planning, engage communities and residents, develop funding strategies and write grants, and mediate disputes in public-private partnerships.

Throughout his career, Doug has been known as an effective and tenacious practitioner who is especially adept at overcoming difficult challenges and removing obstacles to problem solve and align competing interests and opportunities to achieve success.
