Nick Hartzler is an experienced tax and incentives consultant with nearly a decade of experience at publicly traded Fortune 500 companies. Nick’s proficiency in building and negotiating complex tax credit and incentive deals comes from past experience balancing government affairs, compliance requirements, and client needs. Skilled in BlackLine, OneSource Tax Platform, Oracle Business Intelligence, and SQL language data gathering, Nick’s research-backed solutions create positive impacts on all sides of a deal.

Nick brings a varied tax background - including sales, use, property, excise, and gross receipts - to his role at Steadfast City. His industry expertise makes him an excellent thought-partner and advocate for the ways incentives and tax credits can create positive community outcomes. As a lifelong St. Louisan and member of the Holly Hills Special Business District board, he remains committed to developing local economies both in and outside of the office.
