City of Euclid, OH

Equity Lens

Our holistic and culturally conscious engagement included story telling and letter writing activities, and door-to-door canvassing. This set the stage to attract a developer capable of bringing the project to life in harmony with the rich narratives, histories, and aspirations of the community.

E. 185th Corridor

Steadfast City collaborated with the City of Euclid and the City of Cleveland, OH, in a culturally focused endeavor that embraced the history, stories, and rich diversity of the area. This project aimed to unveil the untapped potential of nearly three acres of previously vacant land, nestled along a prominent thoroughfare that straddles municipal boundaries.

Guided by a profound respect for the heritage and culture of the region, Steadfast undertook a thorough market analysis and site plan, which encompassed dialogue with stakeholders and community members. Part of the approach to understanding the history and culture of the place included hosting hands-on, memory-building exercises that drew forth values intrinsic to the region's collective identity. Furthermore, an interactive mapping exercise allowed residents to translate their aspirations and dreams for redevelopment into tangible markers on a map, embodying their hopes for the project's future.

This holistic and culturally conscious community engagement effort served as the foundation upon which an authentic and pragmatic site plan emerged. This plan, in conjunction with market data, painted a picture of feasibility and attainability. It set the stage to attract a developer capable of bringing the project to life in harmony with the rich narratives, histories, and aspirations that define the region.
