Becky Ahlvin serves as the Associate Director for Credits and Incentives at Steadfast City, where she channels her passion for building relationships and fostering economic development to create positive change within communities. With a keen understanding that economic progress must be accompanied by a focus on people, Becky is deeply committed to making communities better for those who call them home.
Prior to joining Steadfast City, Becky held executive-level municipal positions where she played a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of the various cities she served. As a dynamic leader, she spearheaded city negotiation teams during strategic discussions, crafting agreements that propelled the city forward. Her multifaceted responsibilities included discussions with various economic partners and managing incentives for economic development projects that ranged from $250,000 to $8 million and led to the creation of over 4,500 jobs.
Becky's tenure in municipal government provides a strong background in negotiation and policy development, perfecting her ability to coordinate across multiple jurisdictions and departments. She leverages her experience in managing government economic and community development programs to benefit companies, developers, non-profit, and most importantly, people.
